How to make Milkmaid Shortbread Hearts

Ingredients
- MILKMAID 70g
- Egg 01
- Flour 300g
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 80g butter
- 70g Icing Sugar
- ½ tsp Baking Powder
- Strawberry Jam 30g
Instructions
1. In a bowl add flour, icing sugar, salt , baking powder mix well and set aside.
2. Next , in a separate bowl add milkmaid, butter , the egg and vanilla essence and mix well.
3. Add the flour mixture to the Milkmaid mixture and mix well into a dough.
4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface and cut out the hearts using a cookie cutter.
5. Cut large hearts in pairs, next cut out small hearts from the center.
6. Bake the hearts at 180°C for 18 minutes.
7. Dust the shortbread hearts with icing sugar and sandwich them with strawberry jam to serve.
