Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 4 teaspoon baking powder 
  • 1 tablespoon sugar 
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder 
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt 
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 1 large egg beaten 
  • 2 tablespoon butter melted

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, garlic powder and salt.


2.Stir in shredded cheese. Set aside. 

3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg & butter. 

4. Add liquid ingredients to bowl of dry ingredients. 

5. Stir until just combined. 

6. Do not overmix. 

7. Spoon/pour into loaf pan. 

8. Bake for 45-50 minutes. 

9. Top should be a golden brown. 

10. Cool on wire rack. 

11. Remove loaf from pan, slice & serve.
